    This is not a book to be judged by the number of pages it contains. Written decades ago, it remains extremely relevant today. The various meditations, none more than a page or two at most, can be read in sequence as presented, or selected by mood or need. Ernest Holmes has been my favorite spiritual and philosophical author since I discovered him in 1996, but he was writing for decades prior to that. I was born and raised Roman Catholic but as I entered my 20s I rapidly became disillusioned with that church and the clergy that began to appear so hypocritical. After 5 years of searching for alternatives I discovered Ernest Holmes and find him invaluable to read each and every day. Especially if you’re searching for meaning or belief, give this man’s writings a try.
